Elevator – Platon Karataev

Genre: Indie Folk

Mood: #relatablememes

I love my folk music. With good lyrics. The guitar strumming. And a good beat. And crescendo. It is beautiful.

Check it out, please…

Now I am going to journal to you all and tell you why this song means a lot to me.

I fall in love very easily. I think I have said this before in this blog. I just care for people very easily. Even if the love is just in a friend way, I care about people a little more than most.

That being said, this song is so relatable to me. When relationships (including friendships) fall apart, they try to pretend that they didn’t live that person. I don’t. I live in this world where I remember that once loved them. It hurts but it is better than ignoring the truth.

“You can call it anything, but that was love.”

Don’t ignore it. Embrace it happened, and it fell apart. I love a lot but I have learned to live with it. I have learned to live with the fact that one day I will find love, even if it is not today.

See this song tells a story for me, and it will be totally different for you. And that is okay.

Create your own story. And know it is okay to fall in love.
