This blog is about sharing music with others. It is an excuse to help me write about my feelings but also put music out in the world I think people need to hear. I don’t write so people read, I write to try and convince people to expand their horizons on music. Folk, alternative, and punk are my main genres, but I have a big range of interests. I love my records and record player as much as a mother loves a child. I also am a Mohegan roller skater that loves going on road trips (I am a strange bean). hi! Katelyn here. I’m originally from rural Indiana, but I relocated to New Hampshire for college. I was raised hearing a blend of Americana and folk everywhere I went— all that nitty-gritty, traditional heartland stuff. Those influences, along with a love for a range of alt and indie styles, have been the foundations for the excessive collection of vinyl and Spotify playlists I call my own. I love sharing music with other people, but rather than hijack the aux or repeatedly text “have you heard this song?” I’m sharing my passion through this blog. I hope to successfully make this creativity outlet both mine and yours!
