One – The Hunna

Genre: Rock

Mood: Jam OUT

In mid-July, The Hunna released their new album called, DARE. Though I was not a huge fan of the song “DARE” itself, I really enjoyed the album as a whole. The unique rock sound The Hunna has is awesome. A lot of their songs build from beginning to end which I really appreciate.

This song in particular really got to me.

The song talks about an argument which leads to a breakup. He then realizes after 5 mins, he made a mistake. He lives this mistake through 5 days, weeks, months, and still cannot get over this person. What he wishes he told her was, “There’s only ever been one”.

The teenage girl I am, I just imagine someone saying that to me. Imagine only being truly in love with one person for your entire life. Even after time has gone by and memories have faded, there is only one person you love. I feel that. I mean I don’t, but I wish I did.

One by the Hunna also has a killer beat. You just wanna jam out and let loose while your heart is coming undone at the same time.

Also, the lead singer has a killer good voice which makes the song 10x better. I hope you give it a listen!
