This may be the most underrated Beatles song of all time.
I was listening to some classic rock music this morning at work when this song came up. It is a slow Monday, so the intern doesn’t have much to do when everyone else is only answering emails.
In general, this may be my favorite Beatles song of all time. This is a very bold statement because I love a ton of Beatles songs. Though it is probably my favorite, I cannot give you an answer why.
Maybe it is McCartney’s passionate tone near the end of the song. Maybe it is the influence of New Orleans rhythm and blues. Maybe it is the sappy lyrics. Whatever it is, man I just want to grab someone and start dancing.
I highly suggest you give this classic a listen if you haven’t heard it yet. Maybe one day I can convince my younger sister to skate to it… Maybe.
