Public Economics

Public Finance and Public Policy (Econ 28) is a class about the microeconomic models that define the public sector's interaction with its citizens.

The only piece of writing in the class was a group project, where students proposed a policy and analyzed it using the models we learned in the class. My group proposed the federal legalization of marijuana and the implementation of a tax on marijuana-involved transactions, the revenues of which would be used to fund redistributive programs. The essay can be found here.
