I am fluent in Spanish and have taken about 7 years of French. I understand and speak all three languages pretty well. I learned Spanish and English around the same time and later took French in high school as well as a course at Dartmouth. When I have visited Mexico, Spanish has been very useful to me. Additionally, I sometimes translate when I am out with my parents and they don't know how to say or express something in English. I would like to use this CCESP trip to also become more proficient in Spanish and use it to help me continue to practice my language and help other students on the trip who wish to become proficient as well.
