Welcome to FSP 19!

Welcome to the Rome Classics FSP 2019 Blog page!

This page is home to our adventures, insights, and stories (and perhaps even a few mishaps too!) as we travel through Italy, both ancient and modern.

Who is Classics FSP 2019 you may ask?

You see us as you want to see us, in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out, is that each one of us is a brain, and an Econ major, and a Hellenist, a New Yorker, and a— oh wait. Wrong blog.

We come from 8 states, like Oregon, Idaho, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio, Oklahoma, and New Hampshire.

We study an array of subjects including Biology, Classical Studies, Classical Languages, Economics, Government, History, Mathematics, and Neuroscience.

We speak 10 languages, including Mandarin, German, Italian, Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Hebrew, and obviously Latin and Ancient Greek.

Four of us will celebrate birthdays on this trip, and six of us will not. All of us will likely be at one point ill and late and lost, and we will all be ecstatic and overjoyed and engaged.

We’re so excited to be in Italy, learning so much, and sharing it all with you!

Grazie e ciao!
