Meduza, a Latvian English-Russian news publication, has recently reported that law enforcement officials in Moscow have begun carrying out searches and raids of prominent Russian dissident leader Alexei Navalny’s house and places of work. The police raids are allegedly being conducted out in connection with criminal investigations into violations of sanitary and epidemiological rules during protests that happened recently in response to the dissident leader’s arrest upon his arrival to Moscow last week.
