When discussing her reason for wanting to cover Demi Lovato’s Stone Cold, Alexis says “This song is a very powerful one, and Demi Lovato is at her most vulnerable when she performs it. The piano is also the central instrument in this piece behind Demi’s voice. It is definitely a ballad, but one with a very strong message and melody to go along with it. I had a lot of fun trying to perform it like she does – kind of unpredictable and at her own pace, yet very vocally powerful.”
