In order to gain personal insight into Adrián’s life as a first generation Mexican immigrant, two interview sessions were conducted. Once the interviews were transcribed, an oral history, that embodied Adrián’s story and voice, was created.
The following chapters explore Adrián’s life as a child, adolescent and young adult in Mexico City as well as his migration, transitory period, and citizenship in the United States.
