Music Project by Alexis Vannett and Will Graber
The goal of this project is to explore the influences of Latin music and artists with Latinx connections on popular music. Music is a melting pot of different cultures and oftentimes people do not fully recognize the various cultures that influence popular music. For this reason we wanted to explore how the Latin connections of popular artists, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Demi Lovato, have affected their work. We also wanted to use this project to explore some of the little know history behind these popular artists and offer original covers of songs by each, performed by Alexis Vannett.
