Kennedy grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York. She studied Biology, Anthropology, and Ethics, graduating with a B.A. from Dartmouth College in Spring of 2018. She will spend the upcoming year in the Northwest Territories working with the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research as a Lombard Fellow. After that year in Yellowknife, she will matriculate at Geisel Medical School. Kennedy is interested broadly in Planetary Health — how Earth’s natural systems impact human health, equity, and well-being. Eventually, she hopes to work within both medicine and public health to address illness, especially as it coalesces with poverty and oppression. In her free time, Kennedy enjoys running, hiking, and reading.
