Find out where the milk you drink is processed! This map shows the flow of fluid milk from processing plants to five vendors in the Hanover, NH area (Hanover Coop, Walgreens, Walmart, Price Chopper, and Hannaford’s). Hover over the circles to find out what products are processed at each plant. Click through different layers to compare the networks of different stores — layer control is in the top right corner.

Data Collection: Plant information was retrieved by manually recording plant codes printed on milk bottles at each store location, then cross-referencing them with a list of milk processing plants maintained by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
