Automatic Speech Recognition for Endangered Languages Retreat, Event Planner – 2018

This was an event hosted by the Dartmouth Linguistics Department which brought together linguists and computer scientists from around the world to discuss automatic speech recognition technology and how to make these programs available for endangered languages. I was responsible for corresponding with retreat attendees to coordinate transportation and housing needs. I was also responsible for accommodating food restrictions and dietary needs for the catered event. I managed social media pages and email chains for sharing information on the retreat in preparation for the event and to share media files and academic outcomes from the collaboration following the event.

Dartmouth Hopkins Center for the Arts, Building Monitor – 2018

I managed the Hopkins Center for the Arts Information Desk. This involved greeting patrons and providing assistance with directions, programming information, or center information. I was also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of facilities and the marquee board.
