Isabelle Strong is a passionate higher education professional who deeply values learning, community, and diversity of thought. Isabelle first discovered her interest in higher education during her own college years at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Throughout her four years there, Isabelle was involved with various student organizations, especially those centered around social impact, community building, and leadership. Isabelle co-founded and served as vice president of Dartmouth’s Best Buddies Chapter, co-chaired the ASPIRE Program, co-chaired America Reads, was a member of Habitat for Humanity, and was a teaching assistant and peer tutor. During her senior year, she served as Student Director of the SIBS Program and discovered her love for higher education as a professional path.

In 2019, Isabelle graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in linguistics and minoring in English and Education. Isabelle also conducted sociolinguistics research for two years in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont as part of the James O. Freedman Presidential Scholars Program which culminated in a senior thesis with high honors.

Following graduation, Isabelle began working at Dartmouth as a Coordinator for the Admissions Ambassador Program in Alumni Relations. This role allowed her to further develop her skills in volunteer management, community building, customer service, and event planning. After two years in that role, Isabelle was promoted to Assistant Director for the team and served as the Admissions/Advancement Liaison. In this role, she advised and supported students and families navigating the admissions process and collaborated with various campus partners across Advancement, Admissions, and Student Life. In this role she also served as the primary staff leader of the Hill Winds Program, providing alumni-student engagement opportunities and professional development trainings.

Isabelle enjoys advising and teaching students and alumni, relationship building and collaboration, and program development and is excited to continue her career in higher education. Please explore the other tabs to learn more about her interests and experience.

In her free time, Isabelle enjoys getting outdoors to hike, bike, swim, skate, kayak or paddleboard. She also enjoys painting, drawing, photography, reading, writing, playing the saxophone, violin or piano, traveling, learning, and meeting new people.
