The majority of this Maps portfolio is a result of the class Geography 54 Geovisualization which involved work in ArcGIS, QGIS, Sketchfab, and Leaflet. The course also gave me a strong foundation in cartographic theory and history. My other experience in mapping at Dartmouth College was through Geography 58 Critical Analysis GIS where we worked in R to data wrangle and create visualizations while simultaneously investigating and critiquing the assumptions and underlying contexts of mapping.
