This site is dedicated to the history and the impact that the Latinx community, specifically Mexicans, have had on Texas cuisine. The most famous and well-known impact is Tex-Mex, but there are many other areas in Texas cuisine that have been profoundly influenced by Hispanic people.

It is my hope that with this website there will be a better understanding of how the Latinx community has shaped culture and cuisine in Texas.
