Immigrant Women Writing

My favorite paper from Immigrant Women Writing was my paper, "Cultural Capital in ‘Lucy’". One exciting part of my college experience has been witnessing the many overlaps in concepts between my classes. In this case, my writing class read "Lucy" at the same time as my class, "Digital Heritage" (about museum curation), explored how culture could become a political weapon. I took advantage of the insights I'd learned in my first class in order to enlighten the latter, and by doing so, I expanded upon an already fascinating literary criticism. You can read the paper here
