This paper introduces the concepts of multisets and partial maps, which are generalizations of sets and functions, respectively. The purpose of this is to adequately prepare readers for my treatment of basic analysis in another paper, and I’ve decided that it would be better to separate this discussion into a different paper due to the differing nature of the two topics.
