The purpose of this Infographic Project is to use an infographic maker to create a text that informs readers about gun violence in the United States and encourages them to take action via social media. I emphasize key hashtags in my piece to encourage my audience to engage in the digital discussion regarding gun regulation. Overall, I think my ombre color effect frames the three sections of the graphic well. These divisions include the Statistics, NRA Legal Victories, and Digital Activism portions. When I revised this project, I focused on creating greater white space in my second section and emphasizing the hashtags – my main reference to digital activism – in the last section.
