My audio postcard focused first on the similarities between Spanish and Filipino cultures, and then transitions into my experiences as the child of Filipino immigrants, my experience in America, and the comparison of my parents' and grandparents' upbringing to my own. Lastly, I discuss the need for more of these conversations, to raise awareness of the narratives that we talk about in class. 

Some of the themes for the first part of my postcard deal with similarities of food, language and customs in Spain and in the Philippines. Some important discussion points I raise in the second part of my postcard deal with how my adversities differed from my parents' and grandparents' due to the context of my upbringing in America and their transition from the Philippines to America.
