For my audio postcard, I chose to elaborate on my experiences with adjusting to a new culture and how that provides me with an even greater appreciation for the struggles of undocumented immigrants. While public officials in Washington often assert that "illegals/aliens steal American jobs," they are not only undermining the bravery of undocumented immigrants, but also are failing to appreciate the true potential of our immigrants. They truly are what make America great.
