Biography

Kaavya Venkat earned her Master's in Public Health from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice within the Geisel School of Medicine. During her MPH she completed independent research and produced a policy white paper regarding educational and professional development for women in Tamil Nadu, India. She also co-authored systematic and scoping reviews regarding global vaccine administration and equitable distribution.

Prior to Dartmouth, Kaavya completed her Bachelor's of Arts at the University of California at Berkeley. She majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Global Health and Development. Her undergraduate thesis regarding doctor migration patters contributed to existing academic conversations about "Brain Drain" and associated global health topics. Her thesis will be published in the Berkeley Undergraduate Journal in 2022.

Kaavya is excited to embark her career within the field of public health. She tries to combine her passion for healthcare with her unique creative skills. She is a writer, graphic designer, and an experienced researcher!
