The point of this video was to educate the audience. The audience for which this video is intended is a little different than the typical person flipping through the channels. I created this video for someone who would want to finish the whole video. The video (the animation part) is disturbing; the people in the series who watched the video were shocked and looked away at times. This is exactly the reaction I wanted to reproduce. Because the audience this is intended for would want to know the whole truth and would already be investigating the subject with an open mind. I think video is the purest form to explain any topic because it can use so many different forms of audio and photo to produce thoughts and feelings. This video created a feeling in the viewer that I could not replicate in a podcast or infographic. Hopefully, viewers felt shocked by how uneducated they were on this topic. Imovie allowed me to use many different tools that included sound editing where I added new effects to a simple soundtrack. Contrary to the infographic where physical drafts help the process, it was more productive to create several drafts within imovie that followed different paths.
