Colleen Glenney Boggs
Professor
Colleen Glenney Boggs is the Parents Distinguished Research Professor in the Humanities and Professor of English at Dartmouth. She specializes in nineteenth-century American literature, and has written most recently on the culture of the Civil War. Learn more at the Dartmouth English Department website.
Carolyn Dever
Professor
Carolyn Dever is Professor of English and Creative Writing at Dartmouth. She teaches courses in Victorian and early-modernist British literature and gender studies. Carolyn’s most recent book, Chains of Love and Beauty: The Diary of Michael Field, will be out later this year, followed by a critical edition of Works and Days, the Michael Field diary. Christie Harner
Professor
Christie Harner teaches Victorian literature and culture at Dartmouth College, including courses on Darwinism and animal studies, children’s literature, narrative theory, and photography. Her scholarship bridges literature, science, and the visual arts and addresses the social impact of the humanities within and across public communities. Ivy Schweitzer
Professor
Ivy Schweitzer is Professor of English and Creative Writing, and past chair of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Dartmouth College. Her fields are early American literature, American poetry, gender and cultural studies, and digital and public humanities.
