In consultation with members of the History Department, each participant in the program will design and carry out an independent project that makes use of London’s unique research opportunities. The project may relate to any aspect of British, European, or world history. This independent study project allows each student to work within London archives and gain a deeper understanding of how to conduct historical research. These projects culminate in an article-length paper that will be submitted to the student’s advisor for grading.
