Swole-Stack

Imagined, planned, and prototyped in a ten-week sophomore introduction to engineering course, this product is a three-in-one exercise tool that can be used as a kettlebell, dumbbell, and medicine ball.

This solution was created in collaboration with three other team members remotely, spread across six hours of time zones, to offer a low-cost alternative to gyms during lockdown. We designed the product first in 2D, then used SOLIDWORKS to create and print a 3D model. During the product development process, we tested durability and user satisfaction using an iterative approach, surveys, and user interviews. The product has a weight range of 5-40 lbs.

This project earned a meritorious citation for excellence.

My responsibilities in the project included content review, mechanical design, analysis, prototyping, and creating the final video shown below.
