David Brenner is an employee at Eastern Mountain Sports in Lebanon, NH. He is 67, and worked at Mount Washington Cog Railway.

Contextual Data

On the summit of Mount Washington, there is a presence that is usually active at night or sundown. It is experienced by many people there, and the informant himself has experienced shadows and movement behind him. He noted it could be from a blow through the window or a change in the atmosphere pressure, but he also said it could not be. He said it could be from Lizzy Borne, the first woman to die there.

    I was driving by Mount Washington yesterday, March 28 and I took a picture of the summit. The photo shows the sun shining through frosty clouds and an odd face is apparent there. It’s probably just a trick of the light but if you’re interested I can send you a copy of it.
