Obstacles for the Diseased was a challenging but ultimately rewarding projected that I have worked on during my first-year seminar. Incorporating block quotes into my close-reading analysis was new, and defending some of my more elaborate interpretations of the book was hard. Fortunately, I was able to overcome these obstacles to finish and present it.
