This map shows the changes stemming from the growth of the beef industry. It is split to show what is occurring at an agricultural scale, a manufacturing scale, and a societal scale. There is a positive feedback loop within this map because as beef was introduced, it became a household staple because it was cheaply produced in mass, making it an effective way to feed a family well. This commanded a high demand for it meaning it needed to keep being produced so rapidly, which only exasperated the problems within the process.
