Introduction

This site was created by the students of ENVS 15: Environmental Issues of the Earth’s Cold Regions during Winter term 2024 with support from Prof. Ross Virginia and graduate TA Sarah Cuprewich. This site is meant to be a place for research and exploration into the music of the Arctic. The aim is to explore the various categories of music created by diverse peoples in the Arctic by including music selections from different genres, decades, and artists.
