Hi,

My name is Andrew Blackwell and welcome to my site!

I am a sophomore at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. I am from ShakerHeights, Ohio and am majoring in Economics, with a focus on International
and Development Economics.

 At Dartmouth, I am part of several organizations. In my first two years I participated in the Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program, worked on the advertising staff of our student newspaper The Dartmouth, played on the Club Lacrosse team, and recently became the Treasurer of the First-Year
Peer Mentor Program.

While I will not be going on the CCESP trip this winter, I decided to take “The Politics of Development: The Nicaraguan Context” because of my interest in development and international economics, my past knowledge of Spanish, and a general desire to learn more about Central America. My hope is that through my website I will be able to pass on the important facts I learn, the opinions I develop, and the projects I undertake throughout the course of the fall term.
