Background

I’m a doodler, always have been, and I like to think that I’m pretty good at it. But, I never did as well as I thought I should have in art classes. Freshman year of high school I took a studio art class, and it was my worst grade in all of high school. The next year, I found out I was colorblind at the Melges 24 World Championship regatta when I couldn’t call out a few sail numbers to my skipper because I literally couldn’t see them. It all made sense… where I thought I was drawing these beautiful, vibrant landscapes, my teacher saw someone trying to fill in a coloring book on an acid trip. Because of this, I only draw in black pen now. Since honing my style, I’ve been hired as a graphic designer, then promoted to accounts manager at a sticker company called Misfit Kids.
