This intersectional feminist thought box is the culmination of the course, WGSS 10: Sex, Gender and Society, offered at Dartmouth. This site provides a general understanding of feminism, including many intersectional feminist analyses of various forms of media and many key figures in throughout the first, second, and third wave feminisms. Our goal is to apply this understanding of the current feminist approach to gain insight into the effects of media on the perceptions of beauty and gender roles in Asian cultures.
