The assignment was to write a short script based off of an article in the New York Times. The article I chose was about the facts behind the coal ash contamination in water in Tennessee. The story I created from that revolves around a trip to the doctor’s office.
I chose this as my best piece from my First-Year Seminar because the content is relevant and its message that people are unknowingly suffering from the actions of powerful corporations and industries is important and needs to be addressed.
