For this assignment, I was asked to "interact with" Richard Miller by arguing for or against his ideas the importance of literate art in the context of rapid technological advancements. I claimed that literate arts are developing into new forms such as movies and music, and emphasized the significant role literate arts have played in my life by referring to my favorite childhood TV show: iCarly.
I chose this as my "best piece" because I believed I incorporated Miller's beliefs on literate arts well and effectively communicated the important role iCarly had on my dreams and ambitions.
