Writing 2/3 OR Writing 5 OR Humanities 1

This paper is a case study I wrote for my Writing 5 class. In it, we had to use sources which we found to write a paper that was both a narrative introduction to our topic, as well as a thesis-driven argument.

I wrote about the role Wikileaks played in the Tunisian Revolution, as well as the larger Arab Spring. My argument is that Wikileaks was nothing more than a tool for the political dissidents in the Middle East. Wikileaks was helpful, but also had its limitations. In the end, it was the dissidents, not Wikileaks, who catalyzed this revolution.

I believe that this was my best piece because I was able to both use and synthesis my sources effectively. It was also a long paper, and I did a good job of keeping it organized, as well as making sure that all of the information was relevant and helped to support my thesis. This was my first time writing a case study, and I think that I did a good job of balancing narrative and argument.
