About Me

I am from Richmond, Virginia and I have 2 siblings and a lovable yellow lab named Brody. I love spending time outside with my friends and family, and I have a passion for hiking and exploring natural places. At Dartmouth, I spend my time volunteering for DREAM, a mentorship program that pairs Dartmouth students with kids from local affordable housing communities, white water kayaking with the Dartmouth Outing Club, and doing research at the Thayer School of Engineering. I plan on majoring in Environmental Engineering and minoring in Earth Science.

I have always loved writing and I enjoy the way discussion and critical analysis of pieces of literature or art can often help you gain a more comprehensive insight into the significance and influence of a particular piece of work. In regards to this course, I enjoy studying the way Mexican artists of the 1920s-30s have influenced the present day mural culture, in context of analyzing the larger implications of the influence of the past on the present.

Enjoying myself in natural places.
