Welcome to Kwajalein! Never heard of it? Well, you’re in for a treat. Nestled in the middle of the vast Pacific is a real gem. A hidden tropical paradise rivaling even Hawaii. This tiny island boasts warm breezes, pristine white sand beaches, and terrific snorkeling and scuba diving. And don’t you worry, it has all the amenities you can dream of too. There is a golf course, country club, recreation center, food court with Subway and Burger King, library, basketball court, tennis courts (multiple!), outdoor playing fields for the sport of your choosing, two saltwater pools, fitness center, bowling alley, and—this is my favorite—not one but two movie theaters.

But I am getting ahead of myself.  Check into the Kwaj Lodge and I can give you the behind-the-scenes tour!

Wait! I almost forgot, I have a few quick suggestions for how to get the most out of your visit to Kwajalein. This tour is designed to be taken left to right, up to down. Click on the menu header for an overview of that section. For example, right this very moment you are looking at the overview for the “Welcome” section. Then, starting from the top and working down, go through the subheadings in that section. When you finish, move on to the next menu item. But don’t let me stop you from going any which way you please. It is your tour! Just remember, it is easy to get lost if you don’t know how you got there or where you are going.
