¡Hola! Mi nombre es Charlotte Berry, pero prefiero ser llamado Charly. Soy de Rochester, Minnesota, donde hay mucha más nieve y mucho menos  montañas de Nicaragua. Yo soy de Minnesota, pero cuando tenía 14 años me mudé a Boston para la escuela.

Hello! My name is Charlotte Berry, but I go by Charly. I am from Rochester, Minnesota, where there is a lot more snow but a lot less mountains than there are in Nicaragua. I am from Minnesota, but when I was 14 I moved to Boston for boarding school.

Soy un estudiante de segundo año en el Dartmouth College en Hanover, New Hampshire. Estoy estudiando la biología y la antropología, pero también me gusta el arte y la química. Quiero ser médico en el futuro, por lo que la mayoría de mis clases son las clases de ciencia. Estoy estudiando español este año y espero que pueda práctica en Nicaragua. En el Dartmouth, estoy involucrado con varias organizaciones. Yo trabajo como técnico en emergencias médicas (TEM) para mi escuela y enseñar cursos de primeros auxilios y RCP. También escribo para el Dartmouth Pregrado Diario de la Ciencia.

I am a sophomore at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. I am studying biology and anthropology, but I also like art and chemistry. I want to be a doctor in the future, so most of my classes are related to science. I am studying Spanish this year and I hope I will be able to practice in Nicaragua. At Dartmouth I am involved with various organizations. I work as an emergency medical technition (EMT) for my school and teach first aid and CPR courses. I also write for the Dartmout Undergraduate Journal of Science.

Aunque nunca he viajado a Nicaragua, he viajado a Chile, las Bahamas, Costa Rica y México. Estoy muy emocionado de viajar a Nicaragua y aprender más sobre América Latina. Este viaje es una gran oportunidad para aprender de la gente de Nicaragua sobre el idioma español, la cultura nicaragüense y la salud comunitaria.

Although I have never traveled to Nicaragua, I have traveled to Chile, the Bahamas, Costa Rica and Mexico. I am very excited to travel to Nicaragua and learn more about Latin America. This trip is a great opportunity to learn from the people of Nicaragua about the Spanish language, Nicaraguan culture, and community health.
