Wetlands of the Lebanon Area– This document, published by the City of Lebanon, provides a brief but comprehensive overview of the many wetlands in the Lebanon area, including the upper and central Mascoma River and Mascoma Lake. There is a description of the habitat and ecology of each wetland, as well as the human impacts for each one.

Mascoma River Resource Assessment– Published through the New Hampshire Rivers Protection and Management Program. An extremely comprehensive and extensive assessment of the Mascoma River, with information about the wildlife and plant species that utilize the river habitat, historical background of the river region, past and present impoundments and dams on the river, land use, conservation, and much more. A terrific resource for someone who wants to learn more about the Mascoma River.

Mascoma River Watershed Inventory– This natural resource inventory looks at the various wetlands inside the Mascoma River watershed, determining how they contribute to the overall ecology of the region.
