Hi! My name is Alyssa Gao and I’m a ’20 from Chicago. I am a potential environmental studies major and public policy minor. In the future, I hope to become an environmental lawyer. On campus, I serve as a co-manager for the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra, conduct research as a Women in Science Project scholar in Professor Kapuscinki’s lab, and write for the Climate Institute’s Center for Environmental Leadership Training. I am especially interested in the environment, global health, social action, and the arts. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, practicing violin, running, listening to music, reading, watching movies, and planning.
